The application relates to the technical field of identity recognition, and discloses a vehicle owner identity information recognition system based on artificial intelligence; the system comprises a data acquisition module, which is used for collecting the iris image of the current vehicle operator; a sub-region division module, which is used for generating a recognition region and dividing the recognition region into sub-regions; a parameter extraction module, which is used for generating iris feature coefficients; a comparison and analysis module, which is used for judging whether the vehicle owner identity information exists and generating corresponding vehicle control instructions; and an instruction execution module, which is used for controlling the vehicle to perform corresponding actions according to the vehicle control instructions; the application adopts a mode of converting the overall recognition and judgment mode of the iris image into a local recognition and judgment mode, can reduce the data amount used for vehicle owner identity recognition, reduce the data calculation workload, can generate control instructions in the first time, realizes efficient vehicle owner identity recognition effect, and also realizes the ordered processing effect of the iris data.
