The application relates to a steering control method and system of a distributed four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering electric vehicle, the method comprising the following steps: constructing a steering mode determination function, the steering mode determination function determining the steering mode of the electric vehicle according to the range of the running data of the electric vehicle, the running data of the electric vehicle comprising vehicle speed, wheel load, obstacle distance and steering wheel angle, and the steering mode comprising proportional steering mode, front wheel steering mode and wedge steering mode; collecting the current running data of the electric vehicle in real time, and determining the steering mode of the electric vehicle based on the steering mode determination function; the method can provide more flexible, accurate and stable control strategies in emergency obstacle avoidance and complex traffic environments, can significantly improve the controllability and stability of the vehicle, and can reduce the risk of instability and collision, so that the advantages of the distributed driving and multiple steering modes are exerted to improve the safety and reliability of the distributed four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering electric vehicle.
