The invention provides an intelligent control method and system for separation and purification of D (-)-tartaric acid, and the method comprises the steps: collecting the temperature data of a crystallization kettle in real time, and constructing a four-dimensional temperature field model based on a multivariable spatial interpolation algorithm; based on the four-dimensional temperature field model, a space temperature gradient field is generated through space gradient calculation; based on the first crystal image frame sequence, combining space mapping and a deep learning algorithm to extract crystal features, and constructing a crystal morphological feature set; based on the space temperature gradient field and the crystal morphology feature set, an MPC algorithm is adopted to optimize a cooling control strategy; based on the optimal cooling control strategy, a cooling system is driven to adjust the flow and temperature of a cooling medium, and the four-dimensional temperature field model is fed back and updated; and based on the archived data set, optimizing MPC model parameters by adopting a gradient descent algorithm and updating the MPC model parameters to a model database. The time-space correlation model of the temperature field and crystal growth is constructed, the real-time performance and the intelligent adaptive capacity of the cooling strategy are improved, and the method is suitable for a D (-)-tartaric acid separation and purification intelligent control system.
