According to the embodiment of the invention, the network slice information corresponding to the application program can be matched according to the application information of the application program operated by the terminal equipment, so that differentiated service requirements can be met, and the utilization rate of network resources is improved. The method comprises the following steps: when a first application program runs, determining first network slice information corresponding to the first application program by utilizing a second application program; and using a protocol data unit PDU session activated by the first network slice information to transmit a data stream generated by the operation of the first application program.
