The invention discloses a barrier coating material with high near-infrared reflectivity and low thermal conductivity and a preparation method thereof, the chemical formula of the thermal barrier coating material is Ba (1-2x) CaxSrxZrO3, and x is 0.05-0.4; the preparation method adopts a chemical coprecipitation method, and has the characteristics of simple operation, accurate chemical component control and excellent performance repeatability; the near-infrared reflectivity of the thermal barrier coating material is larger than 90%, and the thermal conductivity of the thermal barrier coating material is 0.79 W.m <-1 >. K <-1 > at the temperature of 1200 DEG C; meanwhile, the material has good thermal stability at the temperature of 1400 DEG C, and the heat insulation performance of the thermal barrier coating can be greatly improved.
