Abstract

An apparatus for managing vehicle data collection includes a remote access execution circuit, an attribute conversion circuit, a parameter acquisition circuit, a remote operation circuit, and a parameter adjustment circuit. Remote access execution circuitry interprets a remote access request value that includes a requested vehicle attribute and / or vehicle function value. The attribute conversion circuitry determines: an attribute request value responsive to the requested vehicle attribute; and / or an actuator command value responsive to the vehicle function value. Parameter acquisition circuitry interprets a vehicle parameter value in response to the attribute request value. The remote operation circuit provides the actuator command value to the vehicle network zone endpoint. Parameter adjustment circuitry generates vehicle attribute data from the vehicle parameter value in response to the attribute request value. The vehicle attribute data corresponds to requested vehicle attributes. The remote access execution circuitry transmits the vehicle attribute data to the requesting device.
