Waterproof and anticorrosive coating for metal roof resistant to extreme low temperature and preparation method thereof

Abstract

The present application relates to the technical field of building waterproof and anticorrosive coating, and particularly relates to a waterproof and anticorrosive coating for metal roof with limit low temperature resistance and a preparation method thereof. The present application balances waterproof and anticorrosive performance at low temperature by selecting or designing an emulsion compound system with low Tg and good freeze-thaw stability itself, adopting a core-shell structure or cross-linking technology. Efficient and environmentally friendly film-forming additives are added to ensure good film formation at low temperature. A proper amount of antifreeze and special freeze-thaw stabilizer is added to resist freeze-thaw damage. Rheological additive systems with stable low-temperature performance are selected to ensure low-temperature workability. Through strict optimization of each component of the formula and comprehensive low-temperature performance testing (freeze-thaw, film formation, construction, storage), the present application provides a metal roof coating with excellent flexibility, high adhesion, strong weather resistance, long-term waterproof and anticorrosive function for extreme low-temperature (such as -50 DEG C or even lower) application environment.
