Abstract

The application provides a database index table generation method, a query method and an electronic device, and relates to the technical field of databases. The specific scheme comprises: in response to receiving a database optimization instruction, determining a database to be optimized and a target query statement based on the database optimization instruction; determining a target query field from the target query statement based on execution plan information of the target query statement; identifying the complexity of a target data column related to the target query field stored in the database to be optimized, and determining an identification result; and in the case where the identification result represents that the complexity of the target data column meets index generation conditions, using an index generation strategy matching the condition type of a target query condition corresponding to the target query field to generate an index table for querying data in the target data column.
