Controller single-core reset method and related device

Abstract

The invention discloses a controller single-core reset method and a related device, a fault signal of a first core is obtained in response to a second core, the second core writes a reset signal into a target register through a reset instruction, so that a first status bit of the first core is in a reset state, and the first core is used for processing an operation task. The second core is used for processing communication tasks, and the target register is used for controlling starting and resetting of the first core and the second core. The second core keeps a second status bit of the target register for the second core as a starting state through the hardware latch circuit, and the starting state is used for indicating normal operation of the second core. Therefore, the problem of communication link interruption caused by global reset is overcome, accurate reset is only carried out on the abnormal core, the communication core can still continuously execute data acquisition and instruction interaction in the reset process, the operation continuity and real-time performance of the control system are guaranteed, and the reliability and fault-tolerant capability of the industrial automatic control system are remarkably improved.
