Abstract

The invention discloses an alcohol-containing emulsion of a 5 alpha-reductase inhibitor as well as a preparation method and application of the alcohol-containing emulsion. The alcohol-containing emulsion comprises the 5 alpha-reductase inhibitor, alcohol, an oil phase, an emulsifier, a diluent and a penetration enhancer. The alcohol-containing emulsion provided by the invention not only retains the refreshing skin feeling of an alcohol-containing preparation, but also solves the technical problem that the stability of the emulsion is damaged by ethanol, has excellent stability and transdermal performance, is suitable for being used at scalp parts, and is used for treating androgenetic alopecia.
