When the hydrogen supply source is switched from the first cartridge to the second cartridge, the control device executes: a first process in which water is supplied to the second cartridge in a state in which the water supply to the first cartridge is stopped and the second hydrogen supply valve is closed; and a second process in which, after the first process, the second hydrogen supply valve is opened and hydrogen gas is supplied from the second cartridge to the buffer tank.
