Abstract

The invention relates to a porous organic cage compound (abbreviated as IPOC), which has a connecting unit structure formed by aromatic polyaldehyde and aromatic o-phenylenediamine and shown as a formula I. The invention also provides a porous organic cage IPOC crystal formed by the porous organic cage compound, and the crystal is used as a porous material in the aspects of gas storage and gas separation. The porous organic cage compound is simple in preparation process, low in cost, easy and convenient to operate and high in yield, and the prepared product is high in chemical stability, large in specific surface area and good in repeatability and has very high operability and practicability;
