Compared with a wild type, the function-deleted mutant rice has the advantages that the plant height tiller number is reduced, the thousand seed weight is reduced, the nitrogen utilization rate is reduced, and the seed protein content is reduced under the field high-nitrogen and low-nitrogen conditions. The invention provides a new gene resource and a research basis for rice nitrogen metabolism research and growth regulation and control mechanism research and control.
