Abstract

The invention discloses a construction method for paving ultrahigh-toughness concrete on a steel bridge deck in different bins. The method comprises the steps that firstly, a low-stress area with the stress smaller than 70% of the peak value of an STC layer is determined through finite element analysis, the low-stress area serves as an arrangement belt of a construction joint, and accordingly the STC layer is divided into a plurality of bin sections; in the construction of each bin section, an on-site short-distance mixing and high-frequency vibrating process is adopted; seam strengthening structures such as corrugated strengthening steel plates or rectangular chiseling are arranged between the adjacent bin sections and connected through lap joint steel bars. Finally, strict moisturizing and high-temperature steam curing are conducted. Through the combined strategy of low-stress area site selection, joint structure strengthening and refined construction, the stress concentration risk at the joints is remarkably reduced, and the engineering problems that STC pavement of the steel bridge deck is prone to cracking, and the joints are prone to damage are effectively solved.
