The invention relates to the technical field of fault detection, and discloses a vehicle oxygen sensor fault detection method and device and a storage medium, and the method comprises the steps: detecting a first voltage value of the tail end of a first connection wire harness in a heating loop if an open-circuit fault of a vehicle oxygen sensor is detected; the head end and the tail end of the first connecting wire harness are respectively connected with the heating piece and the fuse box; if the first voltage value is out of the first target voltage value range, detecting a second voltage value of the head end of a second connecting wire harness in the heating loop; the head end and the tail end of the second connecting wire harness are respectively connected with the fuse box and the heating piece; and if the second voltage value is within the range of the first target voltage value, disconnecting the heating element from the first connecting wire harness and the second connecting wire harness, and detecting the on-off state of the heating element. Therefore, according to the detection method, the oxygen sensor does not need to be disassembled, the detection efficiency is high, and assembly problems are avoided. Moreover, through detection of voltage values at multiple positions, fault detection can be realized comprehensively and accurately.
