The invention discloses an exception recovery method and device for a communication module, electronic equipment and a storage medium, and the method comprises the steps: starting a module monitoring service to register a preset scene event callback, and monitoring a preset scene event of the communication module; if the preset scene event occurs, executing an exception check task of the communication module to determine module state data of the communication module; and if the module state data indicates that the working state of the communication module is an abnormal state, executing a corresponding recovery operation on the abnormal equipment based on an abnormal type corresponding to the abnormal state in the module state data and the abnormal equipment so as to recover the communication module. According to the technical scheme provided by the invention, the abnormal scene coverage is expanded and the recovery opportunity is optimized through abnormity monitoring, accurate identification and a scenarized recovery mechanism, so that the abnormity of the communication module is automatically detected, accurately identified and quickly and effectively recovered on the premise of not restarting the whole terminal equipment, and the use experience of a user is remarkably improved.
