Interstage separation device

Abstract

An interstage separation device comprises a first-stage connecting part, a second-stage connecting part and a side thrust rocket. The interstage section is in a hollow barrel shape and comprises a left petal body and a right petal body; expansion pipe and notch bolt structures are arranged at two joints of the left petal body and the right petal body; the first-stage connecting part and the second-stage connecting part are installed at the two ends of the interstage section correspondingly and connected with the first-stage rocket body and the second-stage rocket body through explosive bolts correspondingly. The side thrust rockets are installed on the outer wall of the interstage section and used for driving the left petal body and the right petal body to be separated. And the engine is mounted at the tail part of the second-stage rocket body, is nested in the interstage section and is used for pushing the second-stage rocket body to be separated from the first-stage rocket body.
