Random access method and communication device

Abstract

The invention provides a random access method and a communication device. The method comprises the steps that a lead code signal is sent, the lead code signal is obtained by conducting inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT) on a lead code, the lead code is generated based on a ZC sequence and a first sequence, and the lead code is constant in modulus. According to the scheme, the lead code is generated based on the ZC sequence and the first sequence, the lead code is generated based on the multiple sequences, the number of the lead codes can be expanded, the collision probability of multi-user random access can be reduced, and large-capacity uplink access is achieved. Moreover, the preamble mapped on the frequency domain resource has a constant modulus, so that the channel estimation performance of the access network equipment can be improved.
