Content record sets (e.g., content experience record sets and content network record sets) may be stored via a distributed ledger and updated based at least in part on media consumption events performed or detected by playback devices, service providers, or other participants. Such distributed data may also be accessed to facilitate playback of media content for a particular user, device, home, or environment.
