Message authentication method and device

Abstract

The invention discloses a message authentication method and device, and the method comprises the steps: transmitting equipment generates and transmits a second message under the condition that to-be-transmitted second information does not meet a signature condition; the receiving equipment verifies the receiving continuity of the second message and the first message according to the identifier of the first message; under the condition that the third information to be sent meets the signature condition, the sending device generates and sends a third message; the receiving equipment verifies the receiving continuity of the third message and the second message according to the identifier of the second message; and under the condition that the continuity of receiving the third message and the second message passes verification, the receiving equipment verifies the signature. Therefore, when the receiving equipment continuously sends the multiple pieces of information, each piece of information does not need to be signed, so that the workload when the sending equipment verifies the authenticity of the multiple pieces of information is reduced. And meanwhile, the receiving equipment does not need to perform signature verification on each message, so that the processing workload when the receiving equipment verifies the authenticity of the plurality of messages is reduced.
