The invention discloses a snapshot method and a related device, and the method comprises the steps: determining a to-be-called image output lens and an adopted image output mode according to a current image dynamic range and a lens zoom ratio after an electronic device enters a snapshot mode; in this way, the used image output lens and the adopted image output mode under the snapshot mode are more matched with the current shooting environment and shooting parameters. And when it is detected that the image captured by the image output lens at the moment is a wonderful image, caching RAW image data of the wonderful image in the image output mode for processing. And when the electronic equipment receives a photographing instruction, if a user triggers a photographing button, further image processing is performed on the RAW image data of the pre-cached wonderful image to obtain a final snapshot image. According to the method, the problem of poor image quality in traditional snapshot is effectively solved, the quality and the use flexibility of the snapshot image are remarkably improved, and the method is suitable for various shooting scenes.
