Abstract

Provided is a coil component in which, in an integrated core, even if there is a member disposed at a predetermined distance from a winding core portion, a wire material is easily brought closer to one end side in the axial direction of the winding core portion when the wire material starts to be wound around the winding core portion and during the winding of the wire material. In the core body (2), a gap (11) for disconnecting a part of a magnetic flux loop passing through the winding core part (3), the first flange part (5), the second flange part (6), and the top plate part (7) is provided at a position on the top plate part (7) side close to the flange part (6). At least a part of the peripheral surface of the winding core part (3), such as the top surface (13), is provided with an inclined surface (19) which is inclined in the axial direction, so that the length of the winding core part (3) in the circumferential direction becomes shorter as the winding core part approaches the first flange part (5).
