Abstract

The invention provides a range extender control method, a vehicle control device and a vehicle. The range extender control method comprises the steps that the cell temperature of a battery of the vehicle is obtained; when the battery cell temperature is higher than a battery over-temperature threshold value, and the battery cell temperature and the battery over-temperature threshold value are smaller than a first temperature difference, the required power of the vehicle is obtained; when the required power exceeds the battery rated power and exceeds the set duration, a range extender of the vehicle is controlled to execute a battery over-temperature strategy matched with a set condition; the battery over-temperature strategy comprises a first strategy and a second strategy, the first strategy comprises controlling the range extender to charge the battery, and the second strategy comprises controlling the range extender and the battery to supply power to the vehicle. Therefore, the load of the battery can be reduced, the risk of over-high temperature of the battery core of the battery is reduced, and the whole vehicle power is prevented from being limited. On the basis, the over-temperature threshold value of the battery can be set to be low, and the transportation power of the vehicle is ensured under the condition that the use safety of the battery is ensured.
