Abstract

The invention discloses a galvanometer linkage laser processing system and a control method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of laser processing. The system comprises a trajectory planning module used for intelligently splitting a motion axis path into an idle stroke section and an effective processing section based on the effective processing breadth of a galvanometer, and performing trajectory smoothing optimization; the instruction generation and transmission module adopts a Modbus TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) and TCP / IP (Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol) dual-protocol separation architecture, independently transmits a motion axis control instruction and a galvanometer control instruction, and is provided with a cache threshold and a dynamic batch sending mechanism; and the shaft-mirror cooperative control module is used for realizing millisecond-level accurate synchronization of shaft in-place and galvanometer starting processing through linkage of a synchronization flag bit in a motion controller and a laser flag bit in a galvanometer controller in combination with a real-time coordinate transformation algorithm. According to the invention, the processing efficiency, the precision and the system stability are comprehensively improved.
