Abstract

The laundry treating apparatus includes: a tub including a tub back forming a rear side of the tub, the tub back having a first region including a plurality of reinforcing ribs and a second region including a tub exhaust port and a recessed portion forming an exhaust flow path along which air discharged through the tub exhaust port may flow; a drum inside the tub, accommodating laundry and being rotatable; a rotatable shaft for rotating the drum; a drying device for removing moisture in the air discharged from the tub along the exhaust flow path, heating the discharged air, and supplying the heated air to the tub through the air inlet; a bearing seat supporting the rotatable shaft and coupled to the tub; and a bracket including an exhaust port corresponding to the tub exhaust port and a rigid reinforcing portion coupled to the recessed portion to reinforce the strength of the recessed portion.
