By adopting the catalyst, heat release in reaction for preparing durene and unsym-trimethylbenzene can be effectively reduced, methanol does not need to be fed in sections, side reactions and by-products are reduced, and the yield of target products is further increased. The content of 1, 2, 4-trimethylbenzene in the generated product C9 hydrocarbon can reach 98% or above, the content of durene in C10 hydrocarbon can reach 80% or above, and the separation difficulty and the separation cost in follow-up treatment are reduced.
