Abstract

The invention provides a communication method and device, and the method comprises the steps: an MAC entity of a first device sends a first message to an MAC entity of a second device, the first message is information related to a satellite radio interface (SRI) interface connection, and the SRI interface connection is an interface connection between the MAC entity of the first device and the MAC entity of the second device; and / or receiving a second message sent by the MAC entity of the second device, wherein the second message is information related to the SRI interface connection. Therefore, the SRI protocol function can be defined, and information related to the SRI connection between the MAC entity of the first equipment and the MAC entity of the second equipment can be transmitted between the MAC entity of the first equipment and the MAC entity of the second equipment, so that related scheduling control that the MAC entity of the first equipment and the MAC entity of the second equipment control the SRI connection is realized. Compared with the prior art in which scheduling control of interface connection is carried out by using a signaling interaction mode, the signaling control time delay is small, and the communication performance can be improved.
