Abstract

This invention discloses a mutant of the Wnt3a ligand protein and its applications. The amino acid sequence of the mutant, compared with the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO:1, includes a mutation at amino acid position 57, which is replaced by a hydrophobic amino acid. The mutant of this invention can significantly enhance the activity of the Wnt signaling pathway, and the expression and secretion of Wnt3a are not affected after the mutation.
