The invention provides an optical double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet and a preparation method thereof, the optical double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet comprises an adhesive layer, the adhesive layer comprises, by weight, 100 parts of an acrylic polymer, 0.01-0.5 part of a multifunctional monomer, 0.01-1 part of multifunctional mercaptan, and 0.1-0.5 part of a photopolymerization initiator; wherein in polymeric monomers of the acrylic polymer, according to the mass percent of the polymeric monomers, the acrylic acid alkoxy alkyl ester accounts for 20-50%, and the hydroxyl-containing monomer accounts for 5-15%. The acrylic polymer contains alkoxy and hydroxyl, has excellent cohesive force, and endows the adhesive sheet with excellent reworking performance. And the adhesive layer contains polyfunctional mercaptan which has a chain transfer effect and can become a cross-linking point, so that the adhesive sheet is endowed with moderate softness, and the adhesive sheet has excellent segment difference absorption performance.
