Abstract

This invention provides a method and device for monitoring the loop of a lightning shunt. The loop conductor of the lightning shunt passes through a magnetic excitation coil and an induction coil inside a monitoring hole of a sensing component. The magnetic excitation coil and the induction coil are respectively connected to a control module. The loop monitoring method includes: applying excitation to the magnetic excitation coil; acquiring the electrical parameters of the electrical signal output by the induction coil; and obtaining the resistance of the loop conductor based on the excitation and the electrical parameters. This loop monitoring method can monitor whether the loop of the lightning shunt maintains a good electrical connection, that is, it can predict and eliminate possible faults before the lightning shunt fails, thereby ensuring that the lightning shunt maintains normal and effective operation.
