The invention discloses a while-drilling attitude measurement and data compression device and method based on an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), and the device comprises a data collection module which collects the data of an attitude sensor; the preprocessing module is used for preprocessing the attitude sensor data; the correction module is used for correcting the preprocessed data; the resolving module is used for resolving the attitude correction data; the compression module is used for compressing the attitude resolving data; the decompression module is used for carrying out decompression processing on the attitude compression data; and the display module reconstructs and displays the drilling trajectory according to the attitude decompression data. A low-dimensional feature compression algorithm based on attitude angle and attitude change rate combined modeling is adopted for compression processing, attitude resolving data are mapped to a low-dimensional feature space and are quantized and coded, on the premise that attitude precision and continuity are guaranteed, the transmission code rate is remarkably reduced, data uploading and storage pressure is relieved, and the data transmission efficiency is improved. And the transmission real-time performance under the narrowband channel is improved.
