Beta-damascenone microspheres, process for their preparation and use thereof

Abstract

The present application relates to the technical field of tobacco processing, in particular to beta-damascenone microspheres, a preparation method and application thereof. Based on the complex coacervation method, beta-damascenone is encapsulated in a polymer matrix to form microspheres, the retention rate of beta-damascenone at 180 DEG C is increased from 18.7% of free state to more than 70%, the drug loading is as high as 18.5%, and the synergistic protection of chitosan secondary coating or beta-cyclodextrin pre-inclusion is innovatively introduced, further increasing the retention rate of beta-damascenone to more than 85%, which is much higher than traditional methods such as cyclodextrin inclusion, thereby avoiding excessive dilution of the carrier on the aroma, improving the utilization rate of raw materials and economy, and being suitable for popularization and application.
