A spring coil and spring coil plug system

Abstract

The application relates to the field of medical intervention instruments, in particular to a spring coil and a spring coil embolization system. The spring coil mainly comprises a spring coil and a first component. The first component is arranged at the proximal end of the spring coil. The first component comprises at least two clamping claws arranged along the circumference of the first component in sequence. The clamping claws are all elastic, and each of the clamping claws is provided with a developing part. The clamping claws are configured to be contracted inwards along the radial direction of the first component under the constraint of external force. When the external force constraint contacts, the clamping claws can be opened outwards along the radial direction of the first component under the action of the elastic force of the clamping claws. In the opened state, the proximal end of the clamping claws is protruded from the outer circumference of the spring coil in the radial direction of the spring coil. After the spring coil is released, the clamping claws can be automatically opened. The clamping claws in the opened state can be clamped on an auxiliary stent, so that the probability of the spring coil falling out of an aneurysm is reduced. Moreover, the spring coil in the application can indicate whether the release is completed.
