Beta-glucosidase bx10 mutants and uses thereof

Abstract

The application discloses a beta-glucosidase BX10 mutant and application thereof, the mutant introduces one or more amino acid residue substitutions in a specific site based on the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO. 1. Compared with the starting enzyme, the mutant has a higher expression level in a heterologous expression system, and the apparent enzyme activity and overall catalytic capacity in an equal-volume fermentation liquor or a crude enzyme liquor are increased by 69%-431%, which helps to reduce the enzyme cost in an enzyme catalysis process. The mutant can efficiently catalyze ginsenoside Rb1 and its analogs, and directionally generate rare ginsenoside Rg3, and can be used for efficient biological preparation of the rare ginsenoside.
