A method for preparing an oil-bearing rock cast thin section

Abstract

The application discloses a preparation method of an oil-bearing rock casting thin section. The preparation method comprises the following steps: providing an oil-bearing rock sample to be injected with glue and a displacement glue solution; determining a displacement temperature from a test temperature range according to a viscosity ratio of oil liquid contained in the displacement glue solution and the sample to be injected with glue in the test temperature range; performing displacement treatment on the sample to be injected with glue of the oil-bearing rock by using the displacement glue solution at the displacement temperature to obtain a displacement sample; and preparing the oil-bearing rock casting thin section by using the displacement sample. According to the method, the displacement temperature can be determined according to the viscosity ratio of the displacement glue solution and the oil liquid, the displacement glue solution is injected into the pores of the sample to be injected with glue of the oil-bearing rock at the displacement temperature, and the oil liquid in the pores is simultaneously displaced, so that the preparation efficiency of the casting thin section is greatly improved.
