Abstract

The present disclosure provides a processor, a scheduling method, an electronic device and a storage medium, and relates to the technical field of computers. The processor comprises: a front-end processing unit configured to perform front-end processing in response to a front-end start instruction, and generate front-end processing state information during the execution of the front-end processing; a hardware scheduling unit configured to generate a back-end scheduling request based on the front-end processing state information; and a back-end processing unit configured to perform back-end processing in response to the back-end scheduling request. The present disclosure sets a hardware scheduling unit in the processor, controls the scheduling timing between the front-end processing unit and the back-end processing unit at the hardware level, reduces the dependence on software during the scheduling process, thereby reducing the scheduling overhead, improving the execution efficiency of the processor, and further improving the overall performance of the processor.
