The embodiment of the application discloses a loading position calculation method and device, wherein the method comprises the following steps: screening a target operation section track of a target operation structure from a full-cycle operation track of a target operation device; extracting a target global key coordinate point of the target operation structure according to the target operation section track, and generating an operation material boundary point cloud according to the target global key coordinate point; and calculating target loading position information of a target loading device according to an associated constraint condition, a device operation associated parameter of the target operation device and / or the target loading device, and the operation material boundary point cloud. The technical scheme of the embodiment of the application can improve the accuracy of loading position information calculation, thereby improving the loading efficiency in an automatic operation scene.
