Abstract

The present application relates to an image acquisition device and an image acquisition method, the image acquisition device (100) comprising: an illumination system section (110) that outputs a pattern, i.e., an illumination pattern, formed by dividing each of a plurality of regions arranged in one direction into different sizes; a reception section (130) that receives light from a measurement object of the illumination pattern output by the illumination system section via a single-pixel light detector; and a signal processing section (150) that acquires a reception signal based on the light received by the reception section and generates a two-dimensional image of the measurement object for each region based on changes in the acquired reception signal.
