Use of extract of ampelopsis aconitifolia stem and vine in preparation of medicine for preventing and treating cisplatin-induced acute kidney injury

Abstract

This invention discloses the application of *Trifolium repens* stem and vine extract in the preparation of drugs for preventing and treating cisplatin-induced acute kidney injury, belonging to the field of biomedical technology. The extract is prepared by mixing *Trifolium repens* stem and vine powder with ethanol for extraction, followed by ultrasonic treatment, solvent recovery under reduced pressure, and vacuum drying. The extract significantly improves body weight loss, abnormal kidney index, and renal tubular pathological damage in rats with cisplatin-induced acute kidney injury, reduces serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen, and malondialdehyde levels, increases antioxidant enzyme activity, reduces inflammation, and effectively protects kidney function. *Trifolium repens* stem and vine can be harvested annually but its utilization is insufficient. This invention rationally utilizes this part, avoiding resource waste and broadening the application prospects of *Trifolium repens* in the field of adjuvant chemotherapy.
