Adaptive memory conversion method and apparatus for distributed file system

Abstract

This disclosure presents an adaptive memory conversion method and apparatus for a distributed file system. One specific implementation of the method includes: dividing a metadata dataset in a target directory to obtain a metadata subset group; setting a corresponding memory data structure for each metadata subset; determining a target metadata subset; executing a corresponding access processing flow on the target metadata subset to obtain and output the final access result; acquiring the access feature set and system resource status of each metadata subset in the metadata subset group in real time to obtain a directory index set; determining the memory data structure conversion instructions corresponding to the metadata subset to be converted in the metadata subset group to obtain a conversion instruction set and the metadata subset group to be converted; and reconstructing the metadata subset group to be converted to obtain the converted metadata subset group. This implementation can improve memory utilization, reduce redundant memory usage, and reduce unnecessary data access overhead.
