A computer cable and a method of manufacturing and using the same

Abstract

This invention belongs to the field of cable technology and relates to a computer cable, its preparation method, and its application. The invention provides a computer cable comprising a cable core, an insulation layer covering the cable core, a shielding layer covering the insulation layer, and an outer sheath covering the shielding layer. The outer sheath comprises a matrix resin and composite microspheres dispersed in the matrix resin. The composite microspheres have a core-shell-lamellae crown structure. The composite microspheres have a core of surface-carboxylated modified hollow mesoporous silica microspheres, a shell of graphene oxide / nano-magnesium hydroxide composite layer deposited on the core surface, and lamellar crowns of titanium carbide nanosheets anchored to the shell surface. This invention can improve the corrosion resistance of computer cables under complex working conditions.
