A phase change energy storage-based electric vehicle thermal management system and control method

Abstract

The application is suitable for the technical field of electric vehicle thermal management, and provides an electric vehicle thermal management system and control method based on phase change energy storage. The system comprises a refrigerant circuit, a battery cooling liquid circuit and a motor electric control system cooling liquid circuit coupled through a plate heat exchanger and a phase change material tank, and a control unit and a sensing unit. The control unit determines the thermal demand of the motor electric control system, the battery pack and the passenger cabin and the energy storage state of the phase change material tank according to the temperature data collected by the sensing unit, dynamically switches and executes the corresponding working mode by controlling the valve, water pump, compressor and PTC execution element in each circuit. The application realizes the recycling and reuse of motor waste heat, the collaborative management among multiple heat sources and the dynamic optimization of energy distribution, and significantly improves the vehicle energy utilization efficiency, the intelligent level of thermal management and the cruising range.
