A safe speed planning method and electronic device for heterogeneous vehicles

Abstract

This invention proposes a safe speed planning method and electronic device for heterogeneous vehicles, belonging to the field of intelligent vehicle technology. It solves the problem that the lack of an effective heterogeneous cooperation mechanism between preceding and following vehicles prevents the following vehicle from receiving a more accurate, forward-looking, and characteristic-appropriate estimate of the road capability ahead. The proposed solution involves: acquiring the dynamics data of the preceding vehicle; obtaining the total confidence level of the prior road capability estimate based on the preceding vehicle data; performing time-sensitive correction and heterogeneous reinterpretation to obtain the upper limit of the safe speed for the following vehicle; assessing the instability risk of the following vehicle based on the prior road capability; and executing a safe speed planning and early deceleration control strategy based on the instability risk assessment result. This solution improves vehicle cornering safety and control robustness under complex conditions by projecting the shared road capability prior onto the following vehicle's own safety constraint set to achieve heterogeneous reinterpretation.
