Reactive damping agent, high damping silicone rubber and preparation method thereof

Abstract

The application discloses a reactive damping agent, high-damping silicone rubber and a preparation method thereof. A 2,4,5-triaryl imidazole and 1,3,5-triiodobenzene solution is prepared, a basic catalyst is added, and then a nucleophilic reaction is carried out under an inert atmosphere by heating, an intermediate product is obtained after treatment, then an intermediate product and a gamma-aminopropyl triethoxysilane solution are prepared, a composite catalyst is added, and then a nucleophilic reaction is carried out under an inert atmosphere by heating, and the reactive damping agent is obtained after treatment. The reactive damping agent in the application realizes strong interface combination of fillers and rubber matrix through chemical modification, and significantly improves the damping performance, mechanical performance and thermal stability of the silicone rubber.
