Abstract

The application is suitable for the field of highway payment technology, and provides a highway payment system and a highway payment method. The system comprises a vehicle-mounted identification device, an extended application system, a pre-transaction system, and a lane transaction system. The vehicle-mounted identification device is in communication connection with the extended application system, the pre-transaction system, and the lane transaction system respectively, and the pre-transaction system and the lane transaction system are in communication connection. In the case that the vehicle does not drive to the exit of the highway, the vehicle-mounted identification device performs remote transaction with the bank through the extended application system. In the case that the remote transaction is successful, the pre-transaction system performs first-type pre-transaction. In the case that the vehicle drives to the exit of the highway, the lane transaction system determines the success of the first-type pre-transaction, and then lifts the rod to make the vehicle leave the highway. The application can improve the compatibility of the existing ETC payment framework to emerging payment methods.
