Transseptal valve replacement assist sheath system

Abstract

This invention relates to the field of medical interventional device technology, specifically to a transseptal valve replacement assistive sheath system. The system includes a faceplate, a flexible tube extending distally from the faceplate, and a bending adjustment knob on the faceplate for controlling the distal bending of the flexible tube. The assistive sheath system also includes a distal tissue tactile hydraulic feedback system based on a balloon-loaded liquid assembly. The tactile hydraulic feedback system includes a distal hydraulic balloon, a proximal tactile balloon, and connecting tubing. The distal hydraulic balloon, connecting tubing, and proximal tactile balloon together form a closed hydraulic conduction chamber filled with an incompressible liquid medium. The purpose of this invention is to provide a transseptal valve replacement assistive sheath system that addresses the technical problem in existing assistive sheath systems that lack distal tissue resistance sensing during intracardiac manipulation, easily leading to accidental tissue damage.
