Abstract

This invention provides a demethylated tandem oxidation-modified lignin-based cationic organic dye adsorbent, its preparation method, and its applications. Using industrial lignin as raw material, a large number of oxygen-containing functional groups are successfully constructed through demethylation tandem oxidation modification, enhancing the affinity and adsorption capacity of lignin for cationic organic dyes. This modified lignin adsorbent is suitable for various cationic dyes, including anionic malachite green, rhodamine B, and Victoria Blue B, exhibiting excellent adsorption performance. The preparation process is simple, the reaction conditions are mild, and it can achieve efficient removal of different dyes.
