Abrasion-resistant silica gel insulation sheath and silica gel carbon fiber heating wire and preparation method thereof

Abstract

This invention relates to the field of silicone technology, specifically to a wear-resistant silicone insulating sheath and a silicone carbon fiber heating wire, and their preparation methods. The silicone impregnation solution includes end-vinyl silicone oil modified with hydrocarbon-based long side chains, and also includes end-vinyl silicone oil, vinyl-grafted nano-alumina, silica, polyvinyl crosslinking agent, hydrogen-containing polysiloxane, inhibitor, solvent, and platinum catalyst. The wear-resistant silicone insulating sheath is obtained by thermal vulcanization of the silicone impregnation solution, and the silicone carbon fiber heating wire is obtained by coating the wear-resistant silicone insulating sheath onto carbon fibers. Vinyl silicone oil containing α-olefin dimer side chains is crosslinked into the silicone. The α-olefin dimer side chains can form a lubricating low-shear layer on the surface, diverting some of the external forces while maintaining insulation performance at low temperatures.
