Certificate issuing method and device suitable for internet of things equipment, computer device and storage medium

Abstract

This application discloses a certificate issuance method, apparatus, computer equipment, and storage medium suitable for Internet of Things (IoT) devices, relating to the field of public key infrastructure (PKI) technology. It can improve the feasibility and efficiency of large-scale IoT deployments and effectively adapt to the needs of dynamic IoT environments. The method includes: upon receiving a key generation request sent by an IoT device when it first accesses the network, obtaining the device hardware identification code submitted by the IoT device; processing the device hardware identification code based on a hash key algorithm and a counter to generate a fixed-length simplified identification code, and using the simplified identification code as the certificate subject name; combining the certificate subject name, a predefined certificate validity period, and the IoT device's public key, and signing the certificate using a preset standard cryptographic algorithm and the system master private key, to issue a lightweight certificate for the IoT device containing a subject name field, a public key field, a validity period field, and a digital signature field.
