A method and system for music analysis

Abstract

This application provides a music analysis method, comprising: preprocessing an original music sequence to obtain an initial processed pitch set; performing positional synchronization calculations on each initial processed pitch set according to a conversion dictionary to obtain a first candidate pitch order; filtering the first candidate pitch orders according to a recursive judgment mechanism to determine the corresponding first true pitch order; calculating static parameters, performing static analysis, and generating results, wherein the first true pitch order includes at least the true digital pitch levels of the initial processed pitch set; generating original merged pitch levels according to pitch level merging rules; performing positional synchronization calculations on each group of original merged pitch levels to obtain a second candidate pitch order; filtering the second candidate pitch orders according to a recursive judgment mechanism to determine the second true pitch order and union zero value of each group of original merged pitch levels; calculating dynamic parameters based on the union zero value and static parameters, performing pitch shift analysis, and generating results; and generating an analysis report. The method of this invention stably locates the true pitch order of music and enables in-depth pitch shift analysis.
